Get Involved

Service Learning

Student, faculty, & community groups are welcome to practice service learning through different projects and dialogue around trail building, ecological restoration, and gardening.

We can share and investigate our relationships to stewardship of land and water, food, access to outside spaces, and  justice issues that impact our lives, homes, & neighbors.

Teacher Experiences

Spend a day or overnight learning alongside fellow educators, engaging in experiential education practices, and tangibly connecting classroom learning to outside spaces.

If you would like to take in the beauty of Cedar Crest and potential for a great educational experience before you register your class or group, please contact us to schedule a teacher experience!

Support Cedar Crest EE

Your gift to Cedar Crest EE gives students an opportunity to take part in place-based environmental education along the Western Highland Rim in Middle Tennessee!

Your support makes it possible for students to learn about, explore, and engage with our native forest ecology, creeks and streams nestled within the Duck River Watershed, our more-than-human neighbors, and practical ways to live into ecologically-minded lifestyles that can change the world.
